What is 10 Academy's Intensive Training?

This is a three-month, project-based program designed to get ambitious people into global AI and data roles fast. Trainees build real-world experience, working on challenges from industry while being supported by expert mentors. What is TRP1

TRP1 is a selective pathway from graduation to paid, full-time work for high-potential recent graduates — including those without prior work experience. The program is designed to do three things:

1.Identify high-potential talent based on capability and attitude, not past job titles: Selection is driven by how you think, learn, and execute, and how well you would add to our community.
2.Equip you with a modern technology framework for lifelong learning in an AI-driven world: You will be trained in modern, AI-first tools, workflows, and ways of thinking — learning how to specify, guide, and review AI-generated code, not just write code line by line — so you can continuously adapt as technology evolves rather than rely on a single narrow skill.
3.Transition top performers into paid, full-time work with international teams: High-performing graduates move into real roles, working on real products for international companies, while being based in Addis Ababa.

Payment Options

Training tuition is USD $2,000. Participants are required to make a commitment deposit (or equivalent contribution) of at least USD $250 after completing the first 4 weeks of the program, as a signal of seriousness and engagement.

If a graduate is hired by Tenacious Intelligence and completes at least 12 months of employment, the full tuition is covered. Leaving before the 12-month period requires pro-rated repayment of the remaining tuition.

FAQ

Location & availability:

  • Must be resident in Ethiopia with legal right to work in Ethiopia
  • Must be available full-time throughout the program period (remotely)
  • Must be able to work on-site from the Tenacious office (Hayahulet area) during employment (from May 2026 onwards)

Time commitment:

Able to commit Monday–Saturday, 10+ hours per day for the full duration of the program (16 Feb to 8 May 2026). This is not compatible with full-time work in parallel.

Technical equipment:

  • A stable power supply, our training program requires 60 hours of electricity per week (10 hours per day).
  • Internet connectivity, at least 20GB of data per month. Parts of our training will be conducted via Google meet. For an ideal Google Meet, a minimum upload speed of 3.2Mbps and a minimum download speed of 1.8Mbps are recommended.
  • Ideal system requirements are:
  • CPU Intel i5 minimum Intel i7 or i9
  • A one-terabyte solid-state drive (SSD)
  • A four-core processor, a graphics processing unit (GPU) with 4GB of VRAM, 16GB of RAM
  • 8 to 16GB of RAM
  • Operating Systems Ubuntu 22.10 (Kinetic Kudu) Mac: High Sierra or later Linux: recent distribution
  • Your computer should have a working microphone
